Hello from sunny Enstone today, whilst some people are getting ready for the 'back to school' season we are making the most of the calmer weather after recent high winds! Looking out at another lovely flying day... a couple of aircraft flew in to see the BMAA inspectors...

Some members are enjoying the quiet sky's and Paul is putting people through their paces in the Spitfire Simulator!

The School holidays are a great time for "Teens" to fly and this summer holiday is no exception...
We received a lovely email from Emma, who's 15 year old son flew with us this week:

Dear Angela

We had such an amazing time yesterday, thank you for being so welcoming and helping us to make the arrangements.  Gill was wonderful and immediately put us all at ease.

Matty had an incredible experience which has only made his dream to be a pilot stronger than ever.

He will definitely want to work towards his license and we would love to book more lessons with you.  We live over 3 hours drive but all said we would be prepared to come back as you were all so friendly and welcoming.

What a special place and as a mum watching my little boy take to the skies following his dream was a memory I’ll treasure forever.

Thank you all so much.

Emma x

Then the following images were recently taken when another young student pilot,  Conor, was flying along the south coast with Gill at Portsmouth.

And this picture was taken when Andres, yet another recent youngster, flew over Brize Norton airfield with Gill.

Don't you think Pilots are getting younger these days? 🀣

Richard Pitts is Back!

Not only is Richard back, given up the commercial pilot life to instruct with the  Team, but he passed his IR(R) test on Wednesday with Gill McNeil... So he is back up to speed.  Pop into the club and ask about getting your IR(R)... we're here 7 days a week 😁

Bit of a trek to Devon but we think this could be a great 1 day seminar to attend, if you are interested in going please contact them direct:
