What Will the Future of General Aviation Be?

Finally the sun is out and it is genuinely all go here, with the training aircraft literally working their exhausts off! At last they are using up their flying hours, going backwards and forwards to maintenance in record time with pictures below to prove it!

We are having a GASCo Safety Evening, these are very popular and particularly good for students, so if you are a Member (including student Members) and want to come along...let us know asap...But! If you click no other link today please follow the link below to help the future of GA Airfields...

We can protect GA airfields from being so vulnerable to closure by designating them as greenfield sites. This could help to achieve the governmentโ€™s strategy to achieve JetZero and NetZero- as well as help to cement the UK as a world leader in general aviation.                     Sign the petition here:  https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/660502

Goodbye Sywell...Hello LS Aeromotive

Sad that after well over 15 years, Brooklands Engineering are no longer able to maintain our aircraft... The image below is BTUW saying goodbye to Nick, Mike, Gordon and Avril at Sywell aerodrome for the last time.

And hello to Oxford and LS Aeromotive! With Liam, Maisie, Glen and their team to the rescue.... LS Aeromotive is a real family maintenance business and we are excited to be moving Enstone's hard working fleet into their capable hands. Liam and his team have got right down to business ....Here is BTUW with her top off... she's not shy!

And BODO looking a bit lost amongst all the hangars at Oxford

Whilst BTUW was away having some well earned R&R... we welcomed PETR from LS Aeromotive to the training fleet in a seamless transition thanks to ferry pilot and one of the team, Jack Brook...Millie-Mog was sad to see you go PETR.... as, if you look closely, you can see that PETR provided much needed shade for Millie
