Lovely Weather for This Time of Year! Yet again this week we are more of a cloud gazing club than a flying club! And, we must confess to getting just a tiny bit bored with the wind and rain; You must be getting bored with hearing about it! 🌬️Yes! There may have been more wind and more rain... but with every rain cloud comes a silver lining and, if you're lucky, a sunny interval and a rainbow 🌈 The images above and below were taken by Instructor Gill whilst putting Instructor Wilko through his paces; renewing his IR(R) and dodging rainbows 🌈 So we have managed some flying; in weather like this you might as well go for your instrument rating...or even a night rating!   Congratulations To Judy Night Owl Well done to member Judy Kelly for completing her Night Rating with Gill McNeil... I understand the conditions were so good on the night that they just kept flying until all the hours were flown and the course was completed!   More fabulous pictures of IR(R) training; this time Gill and student Mike Davies were dodging the clouds...
