Aircraft Hangarage and Parking Space

Enstone Flying Club, Enstone Airfield, Oxfordshire.

Set at the gateway the the Oxfordshire Cotswolds, Enstone airfield is ideally situated for commuting to London via Chalbury to Paddington and with easy links to the M40. Central Oxford is just 25 minutes, with all the major scientific parks with easy reach.

Located at the most western end of the hard runway where we have a good access road and private drive to the club house and hangars.

The club house boasts spectacular views of the grass and hard runways and huge grass aircraft parking area. With a clean and comfortable lounge with great tea and coffee and our famous “Mrs Miggins” cake emporium. Nice loo’s are as standard with facilities for the less able. We have free WiFi on demand (fair usage policy) and flight planning and customs facilities, we can cater for the most demanding of flights.

26/08 Hard and Grass Runways

With direct access to the north side grass runway, which operates without any time restrictions allowing complete freedom of movements from dawn to dusk, we will be looking at various lighting solutions for night operations. The hard runway is accessed via the same taxiways.

Avgas is available 364 days a year and JetA1 will be provided if there is enough demand. The fuel is self service or a team member will help if required. Pay as you go or account facilities are available on request. 

All aircraft based on our site can opt for our “care package” this means your aircraft will be kept clean and fuelled as required ready for your flight, please ask for full package details.

We have a limited number of hard parking slots either side of the hangar apron and  T hangars for motor gliders with space to accommodate SMLG/TMG aircraft.

Our grass parking area located in front of the club house has its own direct access to the grass and hard runways without the need to traverse any hard surfaces.

Located at the threshold of the 26 runway is a fully CAA certified aircraft maintenance facility, a Microlight engineer visits on a regular basis.
