This is the result of carrying out a G-BODO power check adjacent the the fuel tank, I saw it happen, there is no need for this and it can be easily avoided by not taxying in front of the fuel tank.EVER

We will charge you if we discover you taxying,starting or shutting down in front of the fuel tank shutter.

Congratulations to Dominic Lyons 

Congratulations to Dominic Lyons on his qualifying cross country this week...Dominic has been training for some time at another school and came to us recently asking if we could pull out all the stops and get him through his PPL any faster. Naturally, with the help of his instructor Richard Pitts, we agreed! Richard has been putting him through his paces and they were just waiting for a good day for a solo nav.  Lovely landing back at Enstone Dominic!

Exciting News from Judy Kelly 

Here is Judy Kelly, who passed her LAPL skills test here, under the Instruction of Dave Stephens in August 2023, trying out the BA's A320 sim for size!  

Judy then went on to complete other training with Enstone Flying Club Instructors including her night rating with Gill McNeil.  

We were all super excited to learn that Judy will be starting training as a commercial pilot in February for British Airways. She will be on a fully funded cadet scheme and says that the chances were slim and the recruitment process was very long. Knowing how hard Judy works, we know she would have gone full on to fulfill her dream.  We are delighted that it obviously ended up as a resounding success.   Well Done Judy! 👏🏻😎✈️🥳
