Your lesson will be in a two-seater glider with a BGA qualified instructor. You will be launched to approximately 1,200 ft from the winch or 2,000 ft on aerotow* and your instructor will demonstrate the effects of the controls allowing you to "have a go".
Gliding is very weather dependent. It is impossible to predict the length of your flight, although every effort will be made to ensure you get the best and safest flight for the weather conditions.
